Hi and welcome to your next step in getting healthy! My name is Shayla Ryder and my focus is YOU!
My own fitness journey began in 1997, I started reading and learning about the body and what it needs to not only lose weight but to be HEALTHY as well. Dieting alone does not work and exercising alone does not work; but put them together and you will have the power to change your life!
My Grandfather was diabetic, overweight and year by year growing weaker from inactivity. He had issues that kept him from being as active as he once was, but the things he could control he was not doing. I wanted so badly for him to be more proactive with his health! I was devastated when he passed and I felt he was gone too soon. I couldn’t change his way of living but my goal is to change as many others as I can!
In 2007 I decided to combine my personal love for fitness and my desire to help others change their life. I received my Coopers Personal Training Certificate and started training clients at LA Fitness. A few months into this I realized there was something missing…YOGA! I expanded my knowledge and became a Certified Hatha Yoga Instructor.
In 2008 I opened Transform U Fitness or what has come to be known as simply TUF. The TUF community is like no other. We come from all walks of life but we all have the same ultimate goal and that is to BE HEALTHY. We support each other on big goals, small goals and everything in between. TUF LOVE is the BEST LOVE!
As a personal trainer, my focus is to give you the knowledge and necessary tools needed to live a healthy lifestyle not only for today but also for many years to come. I understand how difficult it can be to make the decision to change the way you live but you do not have to do it alone. I am here to help you every step of the way. Together we can meet your goals!
